Daft Punk’s Iconic Anime Is Coming Back to Theaters And No Matter What, You Can’t Miss It

One of the most unique anime-musical collaborations of all time, Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, is returning to theaters for a one-day-only special event screening. Interstella is a visual album to accompany Daft Punk’s iconic Discovery. The remastered version of the anime, originally released in 2003, offers audiences the rare chance to experience the groundbreaking anime on the big screen. The announcement comes in the wake of Daft Punk’s retirement, making it a bittersweet celebration of their legacy and their extraordinary collaboration with anime legend Leiji Matsumoto.
