Creed III has added another huge box office record to its earth-shattering opening weekend. The film is the third entry in the Creed franchise, which follows Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan), the son of the character Apollo Creed from the Rocky franchise. Although Sylvester Stallone did not return to reprise his role as Rocky Balboa for a third time, the film – which is also Jordan's directorial debut – features the return of Tessa Thompson as Bianca Taylor and Florian Munteanu as Viktor Drago alongside franchise newcomer Jonathan Majors as Damian Anderson.
