Chris Evans and Dakota Johnson’s chemistry is on display in the first image from Materialists. Directed and written by Past Lives‘ Celine Song, Materialists’ story is set in New York City and revolves around a love triangle between a matchmaker, her perfect match, and her ex-boyfriend. In addition to Evans and Johnson, Pedro Pascal stars in the upcoming romantic comedy movie. Materialists is Song’s second collaboration with A24, after Past Lives‘ breakout success led to Best Picture and Best Original Screenplay Academy Award nominations.
