Chicago Fire Star Confirms Cruz’s Fate & Teases Major Consequences After Season 13 Episode 9 Ending

Warning: SPOILERS ahead for Chicago Fire season 13, episode 9!Chicago Fire star Joe Minoso has confirmed Cruz’s fate, while teasing major consequences in the future after season 13, episode 9’s shocking ending. Chicago Fire‘s winter 2025 return saw Cruz being forced to help Junior (Richard Cabral), cousin of gang leader Flaco (José Antonio García) who the firefighter let die during a fire in season 1. Junior tries getting Cruz to help him get money back from Moreno, only for them to get ambushed in a firefight. The result in Junior dead and Cruz with a bullet in his arm, Moreno nowhere to be found.
