Fairouz Ai, the Japanese voice actress behind more than a few stand-out characters in anime, has announced on X that she will be taking a sudden, indefinite hiatus. The announcement came as a surprise to fans of her work, given that she appeared on-stage just weeks ago at the Jump Festa 2025 Chainsaw Man panel. Ai is known for the incredible passion she brings to her many prominent roles, including Chainsaw Man‘s Power, and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure‘s Jolyne.
