Months after it ended, CBS offers a sneak peek at what Young Sheldon season 8 would have become if it continued. It’s no secret that Young Sheldon‘s cancelation wasn’t rooted in the lack of interest from the public. Aside from maintaining its spot as TV’s number 1 comedy, it also posted show-high ratings during its final year. Normally, that would have been enough motivation for a renewal, but because of its The Big Bang Theory ties, CBS had no choice but to pull the plug on Young Sheldon, as Chuck Lorre and his producers opted to honor the established canon.
