CBS’ new Sherlock Holmes series, Watson, has received a definitive release date alongside a first image of star Morris Chestnut as the titular detective. Loosely based on Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories, the forthcoming CBS series sees Watson open up a clinic treating rare diseases, six months after the death of Holmes at the hands of his nemesis, Moriarty. The mystery show will be CBS’ second series about the detective, the first being Elementary from 2012 through 2019, although the two shows are not connected.
