Over the past decade, the label’s David Nieman has helped lead a more immersive integration between athletes and artists.
The CMG catalog moves to Interscope Geffen A&M, which in return will help piece together his new entertainment brand.
The promotions elevate several of the label’s longtime top executives with new titles to reflect their stature within the company.
“No. 1 records are fun to be a part of, and the ones that have a lot of obstacles to overcome are always rewarding,” says Interscope Geffen A&M’s executive vp of promotion Chris Lopes.
“She is a true artist and she pushes boundaries with every new project,” says Gary Kelly. “New fans and audiences are catching up to her.”
