Netflix’s original Castlevania series doesn’t start out with its best season, and this fact makes me even more excited about the potential future of Castlevania: Nocturne. Netflix’s Castlevania series is the adaptation of the beloved video game series, with it chronicling the story of Trevor Belmont, Sypha Belnades, and Alucard as they attempt to thwart Dracula Vlad Tepes’ plans to overthrow the world with his vampire army. After four seasons of Castlevania, Netflix followed it up with a sequel series titled Castlevania: Nocturne, a series that could turn into a massive multi-season saga of its own.
