Bryan Cranston’s little-known 2016 crime thriller The Infiltrator, with a strong Rotten Tomatoes rating of 72%, has entered the Netflix charts. Cranston rose to public prominence in the role of Walter White in AMC’s crime drama Breaking Bad from 2008-2013. The Infiltrator, which Cranston also executive-produced, follows a U.S. Customs special agent who goes undercover in the 1980s to try to bust Pablo Escobar’s money-laundering organization. Despite positive reviews, the movie was a box office flop, grossing just $22 million against a budget of $47 million, but has found fresh popularity on streaming.
