Bottoms is a hilarious and hard-hitting sophomore effort from Shiva Baby writer/director Emma Seligman. The film stars Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri, who are well-known for their work in projects like Bodies Bodies Bodies and The Bear, respectively. Bottoms tells the story of two girls who go to extreme lengths to try and hook up with cheerleaders, but explores larger themes of community and friendship while sending up high school archetypes in the best ways.
