Fans have been waiting for Borderlands 4 for quite a while, which has given them plenty of time to contemplate where it might innovate and what new features it may bring to the table. Borderlands 3 proved that the series still had a lot left to offer, and the spin-off Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands further cemented that idea. Fortunately, it looks like Borderlands 4 is going in a new direction in a lot of ways, implementing new ideas that will surprise even series veterans.
