Black Clover is one of the most recognizable ongoing shonen battle manga around, and while it’s building toward the conclusion of its final arc, its anime adaptation stopped short of season 5. On top of a reduced overall output for the series, fans wondered when they’d see the series get more episodes adapted, especially in light of the most exciting Spade Kingdom Raid Arc moments ahead. But with Judgment Day hitting the Clover Kingdom and surrounding world in Black Clover, the manga sets the story up for a climax similar to Bleach’s Thousand-Year Blood War Arc.
