Bend It Like Beckham 2 is the proposed followup to the hit 2002 British soccer movie, and thanks to teases from director Gurinder Chadha it may actually be happening. Bend It Like Beckham stars Parminder Nagra as Jesminder “Jess” Kaur Bhamra, a young girl with aspiration to become a footballer like her hero David Beckham. She is noticed by Jules (Keira Knightley), and soon starts playing for amateur women’s team the Hounslow Harriers.
