Ark: Survival Ascended could be here sooner than anyone expected. The successor to 2017's Ark: Survival Evolved, Ascended lands somewhere between a remake, a remaster, and a reimagining of the original game. It follows the classic survival formula, with players crafting weapons, equipment, and homes to defend themselves against dinosaurs, mythical creatures, and other hostile players. Its unique twist, though, is that some of those megafauna can be tamed to aid in daily life or enemy base raiding.
