During The Traitors season 1 finale, Arie Luyendyk Jr. removed himself from the game after eventual winner Cirie Fields was about to convince Andie Vanacore and Quentin Jiles to banish him, and he revealed that the move was not just to be polite toward Cirie. Cirie made it to the end with the new Traitor recruit and Faithfuls Quentin and Andie. Although she could have ended the game at the Fire of Truth after the other three contestants decided to, she instead voted to have one more banishment on one of the best reality TV shows. Arie removed himself from the game, facing banishment, and Cirie took the whole $250,000 grand prize for herself.
