Ariana Grande Donates Christmas Presents to Children at Manchester Hospitals

From their “POV,” Ariana Grande may as well be Santa Claus. The Manchester Foundation Trust Charity revealed on Monday (Dec. 23) that the singer-actress has donated gifts to the children across its hospital system.

“We are so grateful to Ariana for thinking of our young patients this Christmas. The gifts she has donated are being distributed to babies, children and teenagers across Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, Trafford General Hospital, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital,” the U.K. organization — which raises money to fund medical research, acquire top notch equipment and more for the 10 hospitals in its system — captioned its post on its social media accounts. The posts featured photos of kids in the hospital with the beautifully wrapped Christmas presents, as well as adults who helped hand out the gifts to the young ones.

Billboard has reached out to Grande’s reps for comment.

This wouldn’t be the first time that the Wicked star has donated to the organization. She did the same 2022, with the organization tweeting that year that it was “so excited” to distribute the gifts to its young patients. May 2022 marked the fifth year after the suicide bombing at the pop star’s Manchester, England, show at the Manchester Arena. The terrorist attack killed 22 people and injured more than 800.

Grande returned to the city on June 4 for a show called One Love Manchester benefiting the victims and families of the attack, and featured performances not only from the singer-actress herself, but also Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Robbie Williams, Niall Horan, Stevie Wonder and more. The concert, which was livestreamed, raised more than $12 million for the Red Cross and We Love Manchester Emergency Fund.
