Giancarlo Esposito, who portrays Moff Gideon in The Mandalorian, is ready to return to Star Wars in the upcoming The Mandalorian & Grogu movie – even though his character has seemingly met his fate. Gideon has been the central antagonist of The Mandalorian ever since season 1 as the sinister mastermind behind both the Great Purge of Mandalore and the hunt for Grogu’s blood. Esposito has played the villain brilliantly, but at the end of season 3, Gideon was killed by the flames of a fallen star cruiser on Mandalore. This, however, isn’t stopping Esposito from wanting more.
