Zombies have had a diverse array of representation across the history of movies and television. Their portrayal can sink into the terrifying such as in the movies World War Z or Train to Busan. Zombies have also been popularized recently by the long-running series The Walking Dead, which has also had multiple spinoff. Though deemed “the Infected,” HBO’s acclaimed series The Last of Us portrayed zombies in a pandemic-esque format, warning of a biohazardous disease that affects those bitten by infected humans.
