A24 is working on a new erotic thriller movie called Babygirl that just became one of the studio’s most exciting upcoming projects for three important reasons. Babygirl will tell the story of a successful CEO who begins a scandalous affair with a much younger intern who works at her company. Although the project was stalled by the double whammy of strikes in Hollywood earlier this year, the resolution of those strikes has allowed the movie to finally get off the ground. The wheels are in motion: a cast is in place, a director has been confirmed, and the filmmakers are almost ready to start rolling cameras.
