2018’s A Simple Favor impressed both critics and audiences with its fusion of crime thriller and black comedy, and now A Simple Favor 2 is on the way. Directed by Paul Feig, A Simple Favor stars Anna Kendrick as the aptly named Stephanie Smothers, a widowed mommy vlogger who is socially awkward. Her life changes after meeting high-class professional Emily Nelson (Blake Lively), due to their kids both attending the same class. The two become quite close, but after Emily goes missing, Stephanie takes it upon herself to find her.
