Six years after John Krasinski, Scott Beck, and Bryan Woods successfully launched a new sci-fi/horror series, the universe expanded beyond the confines of the Abbott family by making a prequel. The idea of seeing when the aliens first invaded made A Quiet Place: Day One an exciting new story for the franchise. But with the Abbott family’s return being saved for A Quiet Place 3, the 2024 movie became a test for the franchise’s future.
