While Scrubs is known for its talented and hilarious main cast, the medical sitcom also featured some memorable guest stars, including Brendan Fraser. Created by Bill Lawrence, Scrubs ran for nearly a decade from 2001 to 2010, following various medical interns and employees at the teaching hospital Sacred Heart. The series often walked the line between comedy and drama, featuring a quick pace, slapstick humor, and many fantasy sequences as well as moving character moments and devastating episode arcs. Scrubs was nominated for 17 Emmys throughout its run, including Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for Zach Braff, who played protagonist Dr. J.D. Dorian.
