As an adaptation of a manga series that has been ongoing since 1997, Netflix's One Piece already has a devoted crowd. The manga tells the story of Monkey D. Luffy as he and the Straw Hat Pirates attempt to find the One Piece that can crown Luffy as the King of the Pirates. One Piece has already been adapted into an animated series that spans over 1,000 episodes, but Netflix is set to release the first live-action One Piece depiction on August 31.
