One Piece Live-Action Easter Egg Introduces A Future Member Of Luffy’s Fleet

Netflix’s newest One Piece live-action trailer features an Easter egg that introduces a future member of Luffy’s fleet way before they are supposed to appear in the story. One Piece season 1 is set to cover the East Blue saga, which refers to the first six One Piece story arcs. However, the new One Piece trailer reveals that the show’s worldbuilding will go beyond the initial arcs, meaning that those who are familiar with either the manga or the anime will have plenty of One Piece Easter eggs to recognize.
