One Piece Creator Forced Netflix To Reshoot Live-Action Show Scenes Because "They Weren’t Good Enough"

After multiple poorly received efforts in the genre, One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda reveals he forced Netflix to reshoot some of the live-action show's scenes. Based on Oda's long-running manga, the adventure show centers on aspiring pirate Monkey D. Luffy and his crew known as the Straw Hat Pirates as they venture the globe in search of the eponymous treasure that would make him the King of the Pirates. Netflix's One Piece will mark the second series adaptation of the manga when paired with the anime show that began in 1999 and is nearing 1100 episodes aired.
