Insidious: The Red Door's Rotten Tomatoes score has settled into an underwhelming result. The movie, which opened in theaters on July 7, is the fifth entry in the franchise that began with James Wan and Leigh Whannell's original Insidious in 2010. The new movie, which was directed by returning star Patrick Wilson, follows Josh Lambert (Wilson) as he and his son Dalton (Ty Simpkins) begin to be plagued by repressed demons (both literal and figurative) after he drops Dalton off at college.
