The answers to today’s Quordle, game #1089, are…

  • CATCH
  • WEARY
  • SWOON
  • LATHE

After yesterday’s triumph I experienced a total failure today.

Whereas yesterday the Wordle method of doing a word at a time helped me crack all four words in six lines, today it was totally the wrong way to go and I got locked into trying to find CATCH among the surprising number of words that end ATCH.

I should have ducked out after the third line but felt committed to the technique. I guess when the words are simple it works, but the trickier foursomes need the letter Battleships you get from using all five vowels in the first two lines.

How did you do today? Send me an email and let me know.
