Janet Jackson Extends Resorts World Las Vegas Residency

Janet Jackson: Las Vegas will be extending its stay at Resorts World Theatre at Resorts World Las Vegas, Billboard can exclusive report. The announcement of the residency’s six-show extension comes after the five-time Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee’s sold-out debut at the theatre during New Year’s week.

Jackson’s residency extension is set for this spring on the following dates: May 21, 24, 25, 28, 30 and 31. Tickets for these performances will go on sale this Friday, Jan. 17, at 10 a.m. PT on the AXOS website. Fans can also register for pre-sale purchase ahead of the on-sale date via AEG Presents.

“There’s no better way to kick off the new year than with the return of Janet Jackson in her exclusive residency at the award-winning Resorts World Theatre,” commented Bobby Reynolds, senior vp of AEG Presents Las Vegas, in a statement announcing the residency’s extension. “Having the opportunity to experience Janet cap off 2024 with back-to-back performances of her iconic hits over New Year’s week was an unforgettable experience for her fans, and we look forward to having her showcase her unparalleled talents in a total of 12 more performances through this May.”

Those 12 performances include Jackson’s previously slated six-show run — including Valentine’s Day — in February: 5, 7, 8, 12, 14 and 15. Jackson debuted her all-new, initial 10-show residency at the Resorts World Theatre on Dec. 30 and 31, 2024, with shows on Jan. 3 and 4 as well. The shows spotlighted chart-topping gems from Jackson’s legendary career, including “Control,” “All for You” and “Together Again.”
