Ben Affleck’s 2016 action thriller The Accountant was fairly divisive when it was released, but with its sequel coming in April 2025, the movie is currently trending on Max. Warner Bros. Pictures released The Accountant on October 14th, 2016, and it performed relatively well at the box office, earning $86 million domestically and $155 million worldwide, according to Box Office Mojo. However, reception of the movie was not all that positive, and critics in particular were divided regarding whether the movie was a success.
