When Ace eventually appears in Netflix’s live-action One Piece, there should be one notable difference compared to his counterpart in the anime and manga series. One Piece season 1 barely scratches the surface of Eiichiro Oda’s 1000+ chapter manga, meaning there are plenty of amazing characters yet to materialize in live-action. With One Piece season 2 and season 3 expected to adapt the Arabasta arc, a handful of those missing characters will soon make their debuts, including Crocodile, Nico Robin, and Captain Smoker. Another major character who emerges during the Arabasta chapters is Ace, one of Luffy’s adoptive brothers.
