Earlier this year, Marvel decided to shake things up by putting Wade in front of a new villain who found a way to neutralize his healing factor. The end result of that bloody encounter saw Deadpool die in official continuity. In the aftermath, Wade’s teenage daughter Ellie Camacho felt called to pick up the Deadpool mantle in his honor. Now, Wade Wilson’s death has already been undone as of Deadpool #9 by Cody Ziglar, Alexis Quasarano, Andrea Di Vito, GURU-eFX, and VC’s Joe Sabino.
