The past few years have been something of a fantasy TV show renaissance, with amazing original series and those based on existing IP breaking new ground within the genre. Thanks to the increased interest in and success of these fantastical shows, many long-running series will be returning in 2025, and new additions to the speculative fiction world will get their highly-anticipated premiere in the new year. While there’s still a long wait time for some of these projects, as many aren’t expected until late 2025, there’s nothing wrong with getting excited about the possibilities they hold.
