Iron Man’s MCU Replacement Officially Gets A Better Armor Than He Ever Managed To Build

Warning! This post contains SPOILERS for What If…? Season 3, episode 5The MCU‘s Riri Williams gets a better suit of armor than all of Tony Stark’s Iron Man suits in What If…? season 3 episode 5. Across ten MCU appearances, Tony Stark created more than fifty Iron Man armors, each more advanced than the last. Stark’s Iron Man armors went from a bulky suit equipped with flamethrowers to a modular set of interlocking pieces to a nanotech mass of shape-shifting equipment in the span of fifteen years. By the time Tony Stark died in Avengers: Endgame, Iron Man was already powerful enough to go toe-to-toe with Thanos.
