“It’s All A Game To Them”: Doctor Who Continues The Toymaker Saga

The new Doctor Who season 15 trailer teases the continuation of the Toymaker plot that’s been a major part of Russell T. Davies’ return as showrunner. When showrunner Russell T. Davies returned to helm a new (Disney-funded) era of Doctor Who, few expected the show to have a clear narrative throughline. But Davies soon revealed he planned to switch things up, with the 60th anniversary specials reintroducing the Toymaker, a godlike being from outside the universe itself.
