NCIS: Origins‘ season 2 prospects seem positive, according to a new update from one of its showrunners. The prequel series follows a young Leroy Jethro Gibbs in 1991, during his career at the Naval Investigative Service (NIS) operating out of Camp Pendleton, before he became part of the NCIS of today. Despite stiff competition in the crowded scene of crime dramas, NCIS: Origins has been able to find its place, consistently climbing the Top 10 charts on Paramount+ shortly after its episodes air.
