Warning: Spoilers ahead for Paramount+’s Dear Santa movie, and mentions of child death.Jack Black’s Dear Santa character can grant wishes, and while the movie’s logic surrounding this particular plot point is fairly simple, there are a few little wrinkles regarding what the leader of the Dear Santa cast can and can’t do. The family Christmas movie is a pretty lighthearted adventure for the most part, with enough compelling lore to keep audiences engaged, as well as invested in its characters. Dear Santa‘s ending is unexpected given one of the established wish rules, but it’s at least heartwarming too.
