Beetlejuice 2 Completely Fumbled Paying Off Michael Keaton’s Waiting Room Gag

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice had the chance to open in a way that would have perfectly referenced the original 1988 movie, yet the sequel missed the opportunity completely, leaving some disappointed. Released earlier in 2024, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is the long-awaited sequel to Tim Burton’s cult classic horror comedy, Beetlejuice. In Beetlejuice 2, Lydia Deetz returns as an adult, making her living by speaking with ghosts on television. Yet, when Lydia’s daughter gets into paranormal trouble, she must reunite with her old enemy Betelgeuse to save her from the afterlife.
