My Hero Academia’s All Might redefined conceptions of what a superhero can be, defying society’s expectations by continuing his hero work even after losing his One For All Quirk powers. As a huge Marvel and DC fan as well, All Might’s journey particularly stands out to me because of how different it is from most traditional superhero stories, because he does not allow losing his supernatural powers to hinder his mission and boldly redefines the term “hero” instead.
