The Wild Robot has continued its impressive theatrical run by officially entering the all-time highest-grossing animated movies list. Based on Peter Brown’s 2016 novel of the same name, The Wild Robot features a strong cast and tells the story of a robot shipwrecked on an uninhabited island, who must adapt to her surroundings and make friends with local wildlife, while adopting an orphaned goose. The movie was written and directed by Chris Sanders, and since its September release, it has grossed $318 million against a budget of $78 million.
