Tim Burtons upcoming Attack of the 50 Foot Woman remake is exciting, but it is missing a key thing that made his recent his, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and Wednesday, so successful. Tim Burton is known for his gothic movies, and he has firmly defined the genre with movies such as Edward Scissorhands. His recent projects further reflect this, with his Netflix series Wednesday focusing on The Addams Familys strange character as she navigates life at her boarding school. Furthermore, Burton revisited his cult classic Beetlejuice with a widely successful sequel in mid-2024, marking his return to the big screen.
