The Lost City’s epic Brad Pitt cameo was flipped by Sandra Bullock for another 2022 action comedy. The Lost City cast Pitt as mercenary Jack Trainor and while he only has a brief role, many critics considered him the highlight. The story involves Channing Tatum’s model Alan trying to rescue Sandra Bullock’s kidnapped author, Loretta, with Alan enlisting the badass Trainor for help. For a time, the film essentially becomes Pitt’s, where he effortlessly rescues Loretta from a compound and the two share flirty banter – right before Trainor gets shot in the head by the villain’s henchmen.
