Animal Crossing: New Leaf launched for the Nintendo 3DS back in 2012 and almost immediately became a must-play Nintendo title. From its cozy atmosphere to the way it perfected the Animal Crossing formula, New Leaf breathed some much-needed life into the series and got even more people playing it. To this day, it remains one of the best in the series, with many lauding it as the pinnacle of Animal Crossing and even cozy games in general.
