The legendary animated sitcom, The Simpsons, has become a pop culture phenomenon in its nearly 40-year tenure on the air, but will the series score a season 37 renewal? Created by Matt Groening and premiering as a segment on the Tracey Ullman Show in 1987, the dysfunctional animated family quickly earned their own series, which was an immediate success.
