Critically, it also earned accolades, as it won Oscars for Best Animated Feature and Best Sound Editing. A sequel was eventually released in 2018 and earned over $1 billion on a $200 million budget. The Incredibles 3 was already confirmed, though it is still in development and does not yet have a release date.
