The Diplomat Season 2: Kate’s Main Suspect For Season 1’s Terrorist Attack Detailed By Showrunner

The Diplomat showrunner Debora Cahn has detailed Kate’s (Keri Russell) main suspect for season 1’s terrorist attack, explaining how season 2 will showcase the difficulties of trying to prove her claims. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Cahn explained how Kate’s suspicions that Prime Minister Trowbridge (Rory Kinnear) was behind season 1’s car bomb will be difficult to prove due to communications between US and UK intelligence. The showrunner hints the protagonist will need to carefully navigate international information channels in order to bring Trowbridge to justice without alerting him of her knowledge.
