The end of Station 19 could have warranted Maya joining Greys Anatomy, but that not happening delights me because of what it made possible for Maya actor Danielle Savre and her new show. Mayas marriage with Grey Sloan doctor Carina DeLuca could have easily introduced her back into Greys Anatomy, in which the firefighter was already involved during the many crossovers between Greys Anatomy and Station 19. Such a development could make sense because of Carinas appearances in the medical drama even after she became a key character in Station 19, but it wouldnt work as seamlessly for Maya.
