Fender has been impressing musicians with high-end instruments for decades, but this year marks a commemorative milestone for the musical instrument brand, with 2024 being the 70th anniversary of the Stratocaster, which has graced the hands of legendary guitarists including Jimi Hendrix, John Mayer and Eric Clapton (just to name a few).

To celebrate the iconic guitar, Fender is now letting you take the luxurious instrument on the go, in sunglasses form, with new collaboration with California sunglasses brand, Knockaround, that offers a limited-edition capsule collection of eyewear modeled after the Stratocaster.

There are two frame styles to choose from: black or teal, and both have guitar handle patterned ear pieces. Collectors will also appreciate the carrying bag that’s included, which features a guitar amp graphic.

Bring the sleek style of the Stratocaster to your outfits with these Fender-inspired sunglasses for just $45. The frames are available with a black face or teal face, along with contrast color axe-inspired temples. The design combines vintage and modern aesthetics to celebrate the retro beginnings of the guitar along with curves that are a nod to the actual shape of the instrument.

While fans of the guitar will consider the accessory a must-have, it also makes a worthy gift for music lovers who want to expand their collection of Fender collectibles.

Fender is no stranger to creating limited-edition designs of the Stratocaster with other brands and musicians. Bruno Mars even developed his own limited-edition Fender Stratocaster, marking its ability to be used across genres. Steve Lacy is another artist who teamed up with the well-known and beloved brand to create his own take on the guitar, expanding the growing collaborations.
