Lord Of The Rings Aragorn Actor Addresses Potential Return For 2026 Hunt For Gollum Movie
Ryan Northrup
Aragorn actor Viggo Mortensen addresses his potential return in The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. Mortensen first played ranger Aragorn back in Peter Jackson’s 2001 hit, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. He ultimately bid farewell to the character in 2003 with The Return of the King and didn’t return for Jackson’s more divisive Hobbit trilogy. Now, the world of Middle-earth is set to return to the big screen once more with the confirmation of The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum from director Andy Serkis.
