Amy Slaton of 1000-lb Sisters fame has gone on an incredible weight-loss journey, and she’s been on an emotional roller coaster. When the show premiered in 2020, Amy weighed over 400 pounds. She had always dreamed of being a mother and knew she couldn’t get pregnant at her size. Wanting to have a healthy pregnancy, Amy had bariatric surgery and lost 125 pounds. Despite her doctor warning her not to get pregnant too soon after surgery, she went on to have two children with her now ex-husband, Michael Halterman.
